My friend went home(Bangladesh) for vacation but he is affected by viral hepatitis in his home country.He wants to extend his vacation period but he is in fear that if he submit the medical report to his office he might me banned to enter into UAE.His hepatitis B and C report is negative.He is only affected by viral hepatitis and advised by doctor to take 4 weeks complete rest.please suggest me

All hepatitis is Viral. What kind of hepatitis do you have?
Hepatitis B and C is for life that's why in some GCC countries people are banned from residence.
Hepatitis A is curable so if this is what you have you shouldn't worry.

It is not still clear what kind of Hepatitis your friend has. But generally speaking, Hepatitis A or infectious jaundice is caused by hepatitis A virus. Infected people usually recover fully within 2 months.

As for Hepatitis B and C, Khaleej Times (KT) reports 12 August 2010 that the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) website no longer includes Tuberculosis and Hepatitis B or C as deportable conditions for foreigners under the medical fitness rules, except for some worker categories.

Worker categories still to be tested include food handlers, maids, restaurant workers, nannies, teachers and other educators.

Resident expatriates will not be asked to undergo the test for Hepatitis B, while tests for Hepatitis C will no longer be needed under the new rules

New expatriate workers who are found to have Hepatitis B when they undergo their medical test will not be deported but will be given treatment, according to the Ministry of Health.

So, I advice your friend take a rest and wish him full and soon recovery! And then he will be able to continue his work.
