To the olympics?

I love the olympic games...specially all the individual events. So much work by these athletes.

HOWEVER, I refuse to watch a second of any event where professionals are involved (e.g. Basketball, tennis, soccer, cycling, etc.).

Why should Beckham be picked? He's not that good anymore and hasn't played premiership, let alone for the national team for some time. There are far better players out there.

The olympics ought to be (should be) an amateur sport...shame on professinal athlets taken a spot away from an amateur...
