shafique , Thank you Shafique. I am also Sunni Hanafi. Most of Sunni Muslims in Syria are following Hanafi like Turkish people.

So for what I see until now is only me and you who are Muslim people here. I hope to see more Muslims here.

Muslim British just doesn't roll off the tongue somehow. You usually hear people call themselves British Muslims.

It;s like black and white. White and black just sounds a bit odd.

eh - so you think that Muslim is a nation? Well, I am with the 12% of the population that don't think so. I happen to also agree with your fellow Americans who say that there is no conflict between religion and nationality:

42% of American Christians say they are Christian first, and 47% of American Muslims say they are Muslim first - but 12% have my view. I guess the two guys above also in the 12%.

Which are you eh? Christian first, American first or both the same?

I don't know how many of my fellow Britons share the same view as me and the 12% of Americans who don't agree with you that there is a conflict, or that one has to put faith before nationality or vice versa.

Can I ask you again - are you in the 42% of Americans who say they are Christian first, or one of those who say they are American first?

There is more emphasis on Britishness when said "Muslim British" than actually "British muslim" (as Britain have many muslims of different backgrounds)
