Airline security should be about security and not political correctness
Elal, the Israeli airline has resolved the problems a long time ago. Muslims who want to fly on their planes are flagged, profiled and thoroughly rubber gloved, if they dont like it they can fly somewhere else or stop highjacking planes, as a result, passengers on El Al can fly with peace of mind.

Worlds greatest terrorists are the worlds largest security intelligence services with budgets up to US$ 100 billion per year..
What do you think they do with all that money? Isn't there anybody or any of them accountable for the misery coused by terroist activities? they have radar systems, airport security, air force, jets, tracking systems and anything you name it they have to trace terrorist activity and plannings... yet they couldn't have a clue as to what was going on before the tip of their nose when the WTC was being attacked while bombs were blowing in England, Spain, Turkey, Russia around the same timeline etc..
Yeah right we muslims are all terrorists no matter what we wear...You can worship that idea as long as your menial western mind exists..
But you cannot fool me about the works of bastard secret services...why isn't there anyone working in CIA or FBI can be brought before the law to be questioned..Why can't the americans sue them?

So, should the almost 2 billion Muslims around the world be banned from flying then? Would that be an acceptable measure to make flying safe and make everyone comfortable?

Well, judging by the outburst above your post there's certainly one who would qualify for your Muslim Ban, it's certainly a thought isn't it?

After 9/11 there were 1 billion Muslims, then it was 1.2 and 1.2 became 1.5 billion.

Now it's almost 2 billion Muslims in the world today (!!!). At the rate this is headed, I figure there will be fifty billion Muslims by 2020.

The acceptable measure is to profile all muslims, like El Al, then they can fly, otherwise they should start working and build their own airplanes and learn how to fly them, or fly arab airlines. still , even there, the pilots are expats

Wasn't there just a thread about Emirates Airlines making huge profits? The way its going, maybe they'll take over most of the business from other airlines and no one will have to worry about over-reacting to Muslims flying

Japan airline crews = japanese
Lufthanza crews = german
AirFrance crews = French
Air India crews = indians
Brit airways crews = Brits
Am airline crews = americans
Emirates crews = all the above + filipinas + chinese, but no emirati's
So kanelli, before they take over the world airlines, they will have to learn to fly them and actually WORK

Emiratis do work Gertrude, I've seen them at Dubai airport. Just the other week I put my hand luggage through a scanner. There was a nice Emirati man at the other end of the scanner busy texting on his Blackberry. Beth set the alarm off and there were 4 Emirati ladies sitting waiting to search women. They looked up from their conversation and waved her through. Their conversation was obviously much more important than anything we may have been carrying. Maybe they had profiled us and determined that we weren't a risk?

You're so right gertrude! Because the crews aren't Emirati it totally means that the airline isn't Muslim friendly.

So are you saying that berrin would be a threat to people on an airplane?

There are plenty of misogynists walking around and mixing in public with women. They can have their hateful views and still be allowed to go about their business if they haven't done anything to threaten the safety of women around them. Some of you here seem to have pretty bad opinions of Muslims, so perhaps you shouldn't be allowed to do things because of your views. Whatever happened to freedom of thought and freedom of speech?

Do you see where we are going here?
