Russian troops in Crimea Mar 06, 2014
Ukraine’s government is illegitimate and Russian troops are not in control of Crimea, Russia’s Foreign minister Sergei Lavrov has insisted.

‘‘There was an armed seizure of power and a legitimately elected president was overthrown. This was a violation of Ukraine’s constitution. If the international community is encouraging those, who are now attempting to rule our great, historical neighbour, then they should realise this sets a very bad and contagious example,’‘ Lavrov said.

“It’s quite clear that what happened in Ukraine was an agression from Russian side and the Crimea. But now we have to think about a way out, and way out not only about Ukraine, but way out and future of Russia, how Russia will deal what Russia did to Ukraine.”

Well, what do you think about all this actions in Ukraine? Who is right: Russian president who claims to protect Russian population in Ukraine or new Kiev government?

There are news that the former Ukrainian president has died or is in severe condition with heart attack.

"
Euromaydan activist Michael Lebedi reported death of ousted President Viktor Yanukovych of a heart attack.
In a message on Facebook Michael Lebedi refers to his friend from the "Cardiology Center of Rostov" According to him, Yanukovych was brought in cardiology at about 23:00 MSK on March 3 with a heart attack , and he died an hour later .

Michael Lebedi was contacted to make sure that his account on the social network was not hacked. On the question of whether the information about Yanukovych is true, Lebedi said : ” It's unbelievable but, Yes.”

I don't believe in this piece of news. It's very convenient to new Ukraine government to consider Yanukovych dead because only in this case their power can be considered a legal one. Otherwise Yanikovich is still an Ukraine president nominally and all edicts of Kiiv power is illуgal.

It's just a rumor and nothing more.

May be Yanukovych knows too much of what really happened in Ukraine, and it's inconvenient for Putin, so he was eliminated.

Or he had a heart attack when he saw that Russia wants to take Crimea from Ukraine.
Or he was against it and didn't officially want to ask for help from Russia so again he was eliminated.

There is no proof that Yanukovych is alive after all. He didn't appear in public for some time already.

PS: These are just speculations :)
