A SNEAKY shop worker tried to rob a £1million Lottery prize after telling a great-gran her ticket had won nothing.

scanned the lottery ticket belonging to a old lady of 77 and saw she was a Millionaire Raffle winner.

But he told customer (old lady of 77) the ticket was worthless and he would throw it in the trash for her. He then called a hotline to claim the win — saying he bought the ticket at the store where he worked in Oldham.

It was then found the ticket was bought at her local Tesco. it admitted fraud by false representation at Oldham Magistrates’ Court.
