256 dead as Nigerian morgues struggle to keep up with RoP... Jan 24, 2012
RoP = Religion of Peace...just in case you were wondering.

And there have been even more terrorist attacks in Nigeria since the deadly day of bombings allegedly carried out by Boko Haram, the group blamed for the recent attacks.

The current death toll stands at 256 according to the article. There were also ten car/van bombs discovered and defused by the authorities following the attack in the northern city of Kano along with more than 100 improvised explosive devices.

This was a well coordinated attack that involved the use of at least one martyrdom seeker.

Now, one wonders if Robert Spencer changed his name to Boko Haram the loons would stop targeting him. For some reason Spencer is in the cross hairs of the radical Left and Muslim world as opposed to the people who carry out these massacres and the clerics who rile the masses to violence we see on a daily basis.

That must be why there's no BokoHaramWatch - it's in the name.

Jan. 23 (Bloomberg) -- Attacks by Islamic militants in Nigeria that killed at least 256 people in the northern city of Kano are challenging President Goodluck Jonathan’s government a week after a nationwide strike paralyzed the economy.

The militant Islamist group Boko Haram said it was responsible for blasts at eight government buildings in Kano on Jan. 20. The death toll was confirmed today by Shehu Sani, president of the Civil Rights Congress, whose members helped carry the dead and wounded to hospitals....

mprovised Explosives

Nigerian police recovered more than 100 improvised explosive devices since Jan. 21 in Kano, including eight today in an abandoned car, said a senior police official who spoke on condition of anonymity because he is not allowed to speak to reporters....
