I really don't understand how some people can live with themselves. This is absolutely dis.gusting and appalling; my faith in humanity dwindles as each day passes.

Anytime there is war rape is used as a weapon either officially or unofficially.

Isn't it funny how the west rushed their military to the oil country to "to save lives " and did not do so in poor syria and other arab countries ?

There's lots of brutal footage comming out of Libya, but unlike previous wars in history, this one is being covered by anyone with a camera on their phone.

Soldiers have targeted non combatants before to demoralise the enemy - not just foot soldiers. Commanders have tried to damage the morale of the enemy by making civilians suffer. All the fire bombing of residential neighbourhoods in WW2 comes to mind.

All the camera footage will be excellent for exposing what is really happening, and helping to identify perpetrators and victims. Still, it is so ing and sad that these horrible things are happening to the civilians
