Justifying Terrorism - Hirsi Ali May 25, 2012
Amazingly, Hirsi Ali has come out and expressed sympathy towards Brievik's terrorist act of massacring teenagers. It is her anti-Islamic views that led her to this jaw-dropping conclusion.

She did so in a speech, and there was one listener at least that was aghast at her views:

Am I dreaming, or did this really just happen?” asked an astonished Daniel Gerlach, editor-in-chief for the magazine Zenith, who was sitting in the audience.”This is how right-wing conspiracy theory believers talk. This really takes the cake, explaining Breivik’s murderous rampage as the result of mysterious dark powers keeping quiet about the dangers of Islam in Europe.” Gerlach seems to be one of the few listeners in the packed hall who is shocked by the speech.

Yet another example of how hatred can blind people to justify the slaughter of innocents.

So my conclusion from her comment is that Hirsi Ali has also potential to be a terrorist when necessary or if required.. This proves that one does not need to be a muslim for terrorism.. As we always say terrorism has no nationality, race, religion or creed..

Nothing of this sort surprises me anymore after witnessing the pure hate first hand on this very forum itself. And these are suppose to be normal ordinary sane citizens of the world and not well know anti-islamists like Hirsi. So water over a ducks back for me.

It seems there will always be a struggle with devoutly religious folk wanting religion to play a larger part in societies' government, legal, political, health, and education institutions and the more moderate religious folk and atheists who want to keep religion out of those institutions as much as possible to make an even ground of common rights for everyone, no matter what religious background they come from. In a multi-cultural society it is important.

I have to say I was surprised. Even the most rabid anti-Muslim posters here agreed that Brievik's slaying of Norwegian kids was a terrorist act and they didn't try to sympathise with the terrorist's actions.

The scaremongering of Breivik's heroes who have bizare views of Muslims wanting to take over Europe/world/universe etc really have nothing to do with what the majority of normal people recognise as the truth. Normal people don't justify a warped hatred of Muslims or a silly fear of 'creeping sharia' (in Norway??!!) with the slaughter of non-Muslim teenagers.

Exactly, Breivik is not normal. One can have sympathy that he is mentally ill, but not with his warped ideologies and murderous actions.

There will be people with differing views some wanting more and some wanting less living peacefully with each other, which is different than haters and war mongers.

^It's a shame that the haters tend to make the most noise and most nuisance of themselves. Trolls on-line and in real life are a pain..
