Yes, I think the UK should change this stupid mascot, not because of the word ZION but because it's dreadful looking!

I think all the nations should boycott London 2012, until they get logo that doesn't look like a hand painting by a 1st grader.

Iran just needs an excuse to make noise. If it wasn't the logo, they would say the mascots are homo's

Its ugly I will give you that but what's the issue if it does spell Zion - it means Jerusalem right? Its a holy city for every religion.

Apparently this logo has been designed in year 2007; I don't know why the government just realized that they should boycott the Olympic!

Yes I did. I just always find it very amuzing people asking questions to which they think the answer already to. It must come from a deep pit of insecurity. But anyways, yes Zion is related to Jewish self-determination, and thats why Iran doesn't like it.

Its no big secret Iran is against zionism, but seeing 2012 in really ugly fonts as zion and then getting upset about is indeed funny.

It's a pretty ugly logo by all accounts. But I'm not sure which bright spark can see 'zion' in there. Iran have had how many years to kick up a stink? And they only do it now? Fine boycott, because no one is going to miss them anyway.
