Physically assaulting someone who is physically assaulting you is called self-defense. Yes, some would say that if a person instigates physical violence they get what they deserve if they get their butt kicked back. Are you seriously saying that women who don't want to be pregnant and are trying to abort fetuses deserve to die in the attempt? Wow.

Perhaps men shouldn't have a say in rape legislation because the legislation and penalties for rape are weak in many countries due to men tending to blame women for the se.xual violence that occurs against them. In many places thieves get more jail time than rapists.

The underlying prejudice that so many men have towards women comes out in violence and se.xual reproduction rights topics so it is important that women fight hard for their rights.
