A shocking video of how the Army/Police treat women protesters in Eygpt.
Just ignore the masked person, this is the best clip I could get of the mistreatment of the woman protester.

I thought Muslims respected their woman folk! Shame on you!!!!

muslims at their best. 5 against 1 woman.

No wonder they can never win a war and face real adversity.

Ironically, the shocking attack is actually a sign of what the protestors are protesting against.

Whilst some Islamophobes are taking the opportunity to Muslim bash - most commentators are focusing on the fact that most Egyptians are shocked and revulsed by this (regardless of what religion the security forces or the victim is).

Inevitably, questions have been asked about the brutality used by the security forces to break up what was - until Friday - a relatively peaceful sit-in against military rule on the edge of Tahrir Square.

There was international condemnation from the likes of US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon.

At a hastily convened news conference, the ruling Supreme Council of the Armed Forces was on the defensive.

It expressed regret for the experiences of the woman activist who was partly undressed, and promised an investigation.

Brutality of dictators and security forces should indeed be condemned. But I can't help remember back to when the revolution kicked off in Egypt and some here took the side of Mubarak and his security forces!

Denial by rejection, you should be ashamed of yourself for such comments.

Why are you having a go at BM and caps? I know you can't be having a go at me - for I didn't deny any aspect of the heinous attack by the security forces (who may or may not be Muslim, Christian or atheist).

But I note that once again, you are choosing to not address the topic but rather go off on a bitter ad hominem attack tangent. We call that trolling.

Delusional now by simple delusion.

Please try and stop your trolling behaviour - and stay on topic. It is not clever, it is not funny.

But then again, I note you don't criticise Islamophobic exaggerations but do criticise the BBC's choice of women to interview as being unrepresentative. Hmm.

What is it about Islamophobia that makes posters seem so bitter and twisted?

Interesting you should think that. FD may have a pill for you.

Now, back to the topic - by what means did caps and BM determine the religion of the security forces?

Not many things beat an early beer buzz (only in the weekends of course).

Beating up of a veiled woman is some how translates into bashing of muslims, amazing logic. It is sad, and I hope election brings better govt.

If peasant`s didn't protest they wouldn't get hurt. If you're behaving yourself you have nothing to fear from the armed forces .

On a more serious note, I see that the Egyptians have come out to protest in great numbers over this attack - with what is being billed as the biggest protest by women in Egypt's history:

here`s an other one !
Muslim Cleric: "Face of a woman like her vagina"

This from famous Egyptian preacher, Abu Ishaq al-Huwaini--who earlier said that Islam teaches Muslims to plunder, rape, and enslave infidels. A leader of Egypt's Salafi movement, which came in second only to the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt's recent elections, Huwaini's comments are a reminder of what's in store for the nation.

cruasader - quoting information you got from nutjob bloggers will only make you less silly than posting your beliefs make you look. In your case that is quite an achievement. Bravo.

Had you actually followed the link from Jihadwatch/Raymond (Islamphobia cash cow) Ibrahim where you got the story from and let Google translated the story for you, you would have found the article was about how the preacher was mistaken in many of his views. Bob Spencer is very good at giving you only part of the story and spinning it to demonise mooslims.

Next you'll be telling us you believe that Islam condones paedophillia and is responsible for honour killings! ;)
