What we actually see here is a classic loon delusion that Memri fantasies equal reality.

When loons try to tell people that their views of Islam are 'mainstream', one doesn't know whether to laugh or shake one's head at their gullibility.

On other threads, Hamas is berated for not representing Gazans and oppressing the people, in this thread the fact that Gazans voted for them to get rid of Fatah politicians make them 'mainstream'!

Fanbois confusion seems to reign these days. I suspect this is because Israel is losing the propaganda war quite badly these days.

Cheers,
Shafique

You're probably right. After Yunis Al Astal - popular Hamas cleric, scholar and politician - appeared on television expressing his views that Jews have been gathered in Palestine so they can be destroyed, hundreds of Moderate Muslims™ in the Arabic speaking world strongly condemned his speech.

Yunis has since been forced to abandon his position he once held in the Palestinian legislative council, as a weekly preacher for Friday prayers in Gaza and as a high ranking and well respected member of Hamas.

Since his performance, Yunis lives disgraced and broken, shunned from the rest of Palestinian and Arab society where he was once able to draw crowds in the thousands for his sermons delivering warnings of the Jewish controlled media and his previous thoughts of a future conquest of Rome (which you can watch him deliver a sermon of in the video below):
