First off, I'd like to express my condolences to the people of Iraq. They have suffered a lot due to religious terrorism and remained defiant in the face of unrelenting, mindless violence.
Two days ago, a suicide bomber killed 60 police recruits in Saddam Husein's hometown of Tikrit.
The next day, an ambulance driven by a suicide bomber plowed into a police training center in Baquba, taking out 15. In Mosul, a car bomber failed to blow up a security checkpoint after the two occupants in the car were shot and killed.
Now, today, it looks like a suicide bomber struck Baquba again, killing three. And in the biggest loss of life since the bombing in Tikrit, two more possible suicide bombers have targeted checkpoints filled with Shiite pilgrims in southern Iraq - killing fifty - although some reports are saying one or both bomb attacks were roadside bombs.
What's amazing in all of this, just as in past terror atrocities targeting Shia pilgrims, is that the pilgrims are undeterred from such deadly attacks and continue on with their journey, as always.
That's four confirmed separate suicide bombing attacks and two more yet to be determined ones in the span of three days.
That would also be over 130 Iraqis killed in bomb attacks during the same 3 day period, too.
