Dear Sir,
My name is Vanle, I am a director of OSA Vietnam.
One Step Ahead Production Trading Services Co., Ltd. (OSA Co., Ltd) had originated as a trading company. In its’ infancy, it operated mainly to support domestic manufacturing companies developing their business while connecting them with customers from other countries around the world.
During the trading and sourcing for the plastic packaging industry, we discovered there was a growing demand for environmental friendly plastic products. These products will be the future of the industry replacing the less friendly traditional products currently on the market. We began to research our own Bio-based plastic products.
On February 2010, the Bio-based material factory was established in District 12, HCMC, Vietnam. Our research and development was put into practice. The first production line was able to produce 150 tons per year. After one and half year, we expanded with two more lines of Bio-based plastic material productions. The current capacity is 5000-6000 tons annually for the Bio-based material.
Currently, We are running the 2 factories. One is for Bio-based material and one is for Bio-based plastic bags. Our products are verified as OK-Biobased by Vincotte from Belgium. The last bio-degradable testing result on our Bio-based plastic bags was Biodegradable 63.38% in 150days.
From 2012, we started to sell our Bio-based plastic bags to the local market, because our bags were accepted as an environment friendly plastic bags, what are non-environment taxed. We have been using our own Bio-based material to produce the Bio-based plastic bags. Around end of 2013, we tried to present our products to worldwide market. We are now working with the customers from Spain, Mexico, Russia. Our total sales in 2013 was >$1,000,000.00.
Bioplastics are used in an increasing number of markets – from packaging, catering products, consumer electronics, automotive, agriculture/horticulture and toys to textiles and a number of other segments. Growing demand for more sustainable solutions is reflected in growing production capacities of bioplastics: in 2012 production capacities amounted to approximately 1.4 million tones. Market data of European Bioplastics forecasts production capacities will multiply by 2017 – to more than 6 million tones. Through the international market research, we have been developing our Bio-based plastic to compostable plastic. The latest product was >40% tapioca starch+>35%biodegradable material+ around 25% of plastic raw material. Our plan is to complete the compostable plastic products in the first half 2015.
For the purpose of market development. I started to look for an investor or a buyer, who interest in our Bio plastic material project. I am consider to sell 49%-100% of my Bio material project. The project will include the technology and 2 production lines.
Please feel free to contact me anytime,
Looking forward to hear from you,
Thanks and Best Regards,
Vanle/Director
