Well here is my first edition of TechnoTips
If you guyz use firefix and loads of extentions , here are tips to reduce emmory hogging and increase speed. Well u will see considerable speed if u r in DSL and it depends on the site u r connecting
1. Type "about:config" into the address bar and hit enter. Scroll down and look for the following entries:
2. Alter the entries as follows:
Set "network.http.pipelining" to "true"
Set "network.http.proxy.pipelining" to "true"
set "network.http.pipelining.maxrequests" to some number like 50. This means it will make 50 requests at once.
Create a new boolean entry config.trim_on_minimize and set it to true
Set browser.cache.memory.capacity to a fixed size (the default values are: for 256 MB RAM - 14336, 512 MB RAM - 22528, 1 GB RAM - 32768). A good value to try is 16384.
Set browser.sessionhistory.max_total_viewers to 0
Change image.animation_mode to none
3. Lastly right-click anywhere and select New-> Integer. Name it "nglayout.initialpaint.delay" and set its value to "0". This value is the amount of time the browser waits before it acts on information it recieves.

Go to Tools/Options.
Set the disk cache memory to a low value (less than 50 MB)
Turn off Java
Try to avoid these extensions: Adblock, Fasterfox, IE Tab, Session Saver. Use Adblock Plus instead of Adblock.
Don't use more than 5 extension
