Hi,
It's my first thread here in this forum and I'd like someone to help me out, I just moved to International City and I got my broadband from Du (no choice), as some of u guys know that with Du (International City in particular) u don't get a modem or anything, they will activate a socket in your wall and they will give u a standard cable (LAN cable) which is fine if u have on DESKTOP PC AND YOU LIVE IN THE 90S, because nowadays everyone uses wireless (wake up Du) anyways I've asked the Du guy if it will be possible to get a wireless router to work on their network and he said yes so I went and bought a Linksys WRT54G wireless broadband router and since yesterday I can't get it to work, I don't know if it's me or my laptop or something that Du has done to prevent it (in order to get more money activating other sockets), my question is has anyone one here managed to setup a broadband wireless router on Du networks (International City) and how?
Any help is highly appreciated.
Cheers,
