Hello All,

I'm a fresh arrival from Sweden who happens to have an interest in HAM Radio. Didn't bring any gear with me when moving here since I'm uncertain about the rules - I do know there's an echolink node operating in Dubai so there is some activity.

Anyone know about the status of operating HAM Radio equipment in the UAE for licensed amateurs ? Any authority to register with / procedures, etc ?

What about radio clubs, preferably english speaking

Would be great if someone could point me in a direction.
