Did anyone connect a Philips DVD recorder to the DU TV box? My recorder (bought today) does not recognize the TV channels.

I did the same exact thing and got the same results. I worked out how to record something overnight while I was sleeping by setting the box to the right channel and recording. It's not really practical though so I ended up switching to a showtime dish. Unfortanatly, most people can't switch to a dish if you live in an apartment. I was VERY dissapointed in the DU set top box to say the least. When I went to DU in Sept of 2007, they told me they would be coming out with a DVR STB very soon. Now, nearly two years later, they are still telling this to new subscribers. What a Joke!
