Is Blocking VoIP Illegal?

Is blocking VoIP illegal? Jul 01, 2010
I live in Dubai and I have been using my VoIP service since last year. Recently they signed a contract with a British company that would block all VoIP connections in the U.A.E. and I was wondering if this is legal or not? Is there anyway to bypass this or what?

No, VoIP is not not legal in UAE but their is one company i have heard in a news that has legal authorization for VoIp services the company name is Gitex you can find more about it on google. GOOD LUcK
