Apple has just announced the much anticipated iPhone

Looks pretty sweet to me! Was thinking about getting the Nokia N95, but i might wait for this instead.

Only downer is that it won't hit asia until 2008 and i guess dubai comes under asia

yup indeed, this baby is one hell of a multimedia Phone ever made.. with mac osx the OS.. wow... better display than Ipod and better play style...it has sensor if you hold it in landscape or portrait (screen auto adjust) is that cool... gulfnews said it is 5 years more advance in some phones... (not the camera though) so those peepz going to buy nokia. think twice.. but everything depends on you.... on how will you use the mobile you want... PEACE ALL

I don't it will be until 2008, unless you get the US version in June and it's possible to unlock

UAE is actually a part of Apple Europe, not Asia. And Apple said "late 2007" for Europe, so we may see the iPhone here this year.
