Horses and Sharjah Jun 02, 2010
I'm a very keen show jumper here in the UK been riding for 17 years now. When i move i dont want to give up on the sport. We are moving to Sharjah to live with my dad but i dont want to buy my own horse out there as wouldnt be fair with the work commitments and bringing up a young daughter. What is there round there in terms of lesson/working at yards couple of days a week etc

We are moving into a villa near Coral Beach hotel if there is any stables round there

best to get in touch with Dubai Equine Hospital. Give them a ring and they can help you out!

Hobbies Club, Jebel Ali Equestrian Club etc etc There is no shortage of such activities here, but pricey. If your anygood, maybe a wealthy stable will pick you up and then your set for a long time ;)

Thanks for the replies guys although i am having to put that idea on hold for a year as found out I'm pregnant with our second child so can't ride for safety reasons, bit of a bummer for me here as just started helping a mate out with her 5 (3 of which are young colts and and a little feisty at times) so I'm gonna have to wait until at least next august/September before I can get back in saddle!
