This forum is unbalanced. Whilst this thread is very popular, along with a lot of Dubai Chat ones.........the "DUBAI BUSINESS DISCUSSIONS is neglected. I have been posting there under a thread called MARKETING DUBAI BUSINESSES ON INTERNET.

The enthusiasm for that topic is almost non-existent....yet it is EXACTLY what the Dubai economy needs ......apart from loads of cash!!
I was saying that a site called VISITE DUBAI in French has now been translated into Dutch. I was wondering what someone like you......a Dutch speaker.....thought of the translation ? Would you say it was accurate?

As a Dutch /English fluent writer, I would say that Dubai businesses should be possibly contacting you regarding translation work into Dutch.

MULTI-LINGUAL web-sites are needed to market to global audiences. What do you think Robby?

This forum (general chat) and this thread (topic) are not in fact for advertising business at all, although I understand that you can reach 'an audience' here, albeit as wolves in sheeps' clothing.

I think your presence here is a pleasure and you guys are generally fun to read, but cutting down on the RedKite free advertising jingles woud be good too...

Just my opinion, as always, and although I'm sure others have their own opinions, I think my view is in line with general 'netiquette' (archaic word, and a crap one, I know).

Robby as a translator....that could work, he even makes a passable limerick now, I just wonder how much cash RK could generate from his knowledge of Celtic!

I was sticking to topic by addressing the one above me.....Robby....and making a legitimate point that the Business Section of this forum is NEGLECTED. I said that I had a LEGITIMATE topic on there that was ignored......ie MARKETING DUBAI.....which should be highly important in a recession!!

Yet all you want to talk about is my "netiquette" and" plugging my site".

Yet I have seen a bloke have a FULL THREAD devoted to his book....."Escape from Dubai"

And ANOTHER get a FULL THREAD to advertise "25 per cent return on money per month " INVESTMENT ON A CASUAL CHAT THREAD .

That guy is plugging what looks like a SCAM, yet he is left alone......with A FULL THREAD TO HIMSELF ....in a non business section!!

If 25 per cent per month is possible......and EASY .......WHY ARE ALL THE BANKS IN TROUBLE??

Is that inconsistency, or what? Why are you not complaining Humpie??

(to RK - I did complain about herve plugging his book, as did a lot of people. As to the other thread you mention, you can't do anything about what you don't see, I never saw that thread, so that's simple! The moderator of the forum is the one who's supposed to stamp on these things. Last thing, this thread is to say something 'about' the person above you not just to 'address' them. If you look at your post compared to all the ones above it, it stands out like a sore thumb! Anyway, as the kids say 'peace out' )
