A friend of mine who is considering moving to Dubai asked me a question today. He found the next information...

Well, he has over 20 years of industry experience and he is a manager at his home country (in Europe) but he has no degree, he has only a high school diploma (Technician of Electronics). He wants to know where can he find an official "profession list" of the UAE government on the Internet (regarding to work permit categories) and he wants to know his chances to work as a manager in Dubai with a 20 years industry experience (more than 8 years of that as a manager) and a high school diploma only. He is extremely competent and skillful with a list of high value achievements in his carrier.

Going by your post he'd fit into the 3rd level, pretty much on par with secretaries and the like - fantastic prospects!...Not...

If he's in Europe he'd be better off staying put and earning some real money, unless he's able to get relocated out here at someone else's expense.
