Frankly QS' are a dime-a-dozen in this town and most of them are clueless...All they really know if 4th grade math and how to calculate area and volume on simple geometric shapes (ok, 5th grade for that one) and once heard of FIDIC
Has it got to do with the fact that they are mostly young, perhaps fresh grads who cant get a job in their own country therefore 0 experience? Or they are just plain "stupid"?
No, it actually has to do with the fact that they are: mostly older who can't get a job somewhere else, who think they know something but they know nothing - or nothing that someone with a couple of years experience at most would not know. There is a quantum difference between "20 years experience" and "one year's experience repeated 20 times".
I think being older and fluent in english helped to get jobs regardless of qulifications about 50 to 20 years ago. The jig is up...
Sometimes being older just means: you are older. Experience is another matter...
