hi i am a medical student ( uk citizen) in my final year, coming to dubai in october for two months, to do a medical elective at a dubai hospital (non paid and voluntary)

what type of visa should i get ? should i get a working visa or sponser visa

i read in a website that uk citizens can stay for 60 days which is extendable for another 30. ( this is done at a uae airport)

you should get a working visa, this your employer (the hospital) will need to apply for. i suggest asking them for some guidance!

for a uk citizen its visa on arrival, currently 60 days plus a 30 day extention - however they are possibly changing the visa law, which would mean 90 days and a futher extention of 90 days (at a cost of 1500 aed - 230 pounds odd) - not sure if this will alter to uk passport holders....
