Which brand of travellers checks are most widely accepted in Dubai?

I wondering if I should buy Amex, Thomas Cook, or Visa.

thomas cook i think has best representation through the al rastamani exchanges....

i'm not sure about the others though

come to think of it, travellers cheques are a pain in the neck to cash here. why not just use a credit card or even cash - it's a pretty safe enviromnment
