I’m an IT professional from the Uk with 8 years experience and with MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer) accreditation specializing in Desktop and Network support 2nd and 3rd line, how much money could I make in GBP £? in Dubai. And how would I go about looking for the right job for me? I see a lot of high end IT position like 'project manager' or 'senior consultant' but not many 'Support' jobs' there must be opportunities, where’s the best place to look?

P.S. Would I be better off in Bahrain

The problem you would face is that there are plenty of Indians here who would be as good if not better in support roles and they would cost a lot less.

To give you an idea of what your salary range would be on a local package here I have a Syrian guy and he's drawing around AED5k/mth (GBP 750).

If you're from the UK and want to earn (comparatively) a decent salary here you'd want to get an expat posting as IT Manager etc.
