Why don't you go for squash?
Easy to learn, cheap, no need to buy special equipment...
And there are courts everywhere, personally I prefer playing in Jumeirah Beach Hotel, in Deira there are courts in Hyatt Regency, I am sure that there are plenty of places in most 5-star hotels.
