Shall I add personal photo?

When completing a cv, should CV be saved in PDF file or word .doc ?

Never bothered about photos myself when I screen CVs.

Send in PDF if using a recruitment agent (they have a funny habit of changing details etc.), otherwise Word is fine.

I'd leave off the photo to start with, as Dubai can be quite judgemental but have one handy as alot of employers out here like to see what you look like.

Oh and...

recruitment agencies (well the good ones dont anyway) dont change details - they just take off your contact details and put there own on....otherwise people like to leave them out of the loop If you are worried about them altering your CV, simply send them your CV in PDF format with no contact details on it - and a separate cover letter with your details
