Do you know a good website suitable for placing online ads (text/graphics) in the UAE?

why dont you use google adwords and limit your campaign to the UAE. Or you could go for the local newspaper sites such as gulfnews, 7days , etc..

PS" dont expect that "Concord " or "Ian" going to download online "islamic stuff" . If you check the history of browser of Concord , you ll find all the "blocked " sites by Dubai telecom.

Just a little off topic here guys,.. but do any of you know what the internet penetration of the middle east would be like?

I have seen some numbers. UAE is one of the highest, and last I checked a few years ago, there were as many internet users here as in Saudi Arabia. That place really needs to get its act together with all that money sitting under them.

thats exactly what i thought.... the region has a long way to go before it becomes net-savvy

I can bet that most of the members on this forum joined only to hunt for a job and now never even check in to read the threads

That "etc.." is important to me because I belive that there are some community websites that people use them regularly.
gulfnews and 7days charge too much for advertisements.

Any comments?

I suggest you visit http://www.internetworldstats.com/stats5.htm. You will find very interesting numbers there.
