Hey Folks,

Firstly, I've been reading and researching through this site for about 2 months. I decided in Sept06 to move to Dubai this Spring07.

To avoid annoying anyone, I've done some searches on past discussions but came up only with unmarried couples having babies in Dubai (a no-no). My question is, what is the stance/risks/attitudes of the public on single moms moving to Dubai?

Also, are there any single parents in the forum who could give me pointers on matters such as daycare?

Normally when you apply your wife & child residence visa you need to show attested birth and marriage certificate. Or divorce certificate if your child is in your custody.

For unmarried one like you, I'm not sure. Maybe others can give some experience.
