Friends,

I have gone through the help already posted for Marrying in UAE but seems little help to me. please help, here is the situation:

I am an INDIAN- Religion HINDU and on work VISA in UAE.
I wanted to marry my long time girl friend- She is also INDIAN, religion Christianity and currently in UK on student visa.

Whats the best, easier and fasted way that we can both get married in UAE if she comes on a visit visa during december.

Please help with your inputs...

Not sure you can get married here if your G/F soon to be wife is on a visit visa.

i think it is more complicated than that, at an old employer one of our indian women staff married an indian man, they had to go through quiet a process at the indian consulate, apparently it has to be advertised in the local papers as well as the papers in india? (not sure if memory serves me correctly on that though), and then the wedding - although a church affair (as they were both christian indians) still had to be legalised at the indian consulate, which means they had two ceramonies. they had to provide witnesses etc.. as well.

i'd say check with the indian consulate in dubai first, before you start making travel arrangements!
