I have just moved to Dubai from england. Looks like im gonna be here for a while so i would like to take this chance to learn arabic. I would prefer to learn classical and the local dilect but even just the local dilect is fine. I would apprciate any help on this matter.

I am willing to either teach english in return or pay for a professional.

Also, I am learning Arabic (or attempting to) in my spare time. I've got "Mastering Arabic" by Jane Wightwick and Mahmoud Gafaar. The CD's compliment the book and it's pretty easy and quick to get a grasp of.
