Hahah, nah just removes any passport or visa issues when travelling to the EU, since I've been an Irish citizen for... well, for ages.

Also, I believe the DHL in Karama have a special rate for sending stuff to the Irish Embassy in Saudi (Manager was Irish and sorted it out!)

Ian,

First I find you're a fellow Aussie, then I find out you're a fellow Aussie/Irish dual citizen. That's a lot in common - I will definitely be chasing you down for a couple of drinks.

I just noticed in the Dublin thread! We can go for a few pints of G at the IV anytime (Irish Village).

A colleague of mine got a visa for Ireland from "Enterprise Island" in the Crowne Plaza building. Not sure if they do passports as well.
