How To Get A P.O.Box In Dubai?

how to get a P.O.Box in Dubai? Feb 24, 2008
Hi,

I don't work in Dubai yet, and my home does not have a mailing address. I was told I need to rent a P.O.Box in order to receive mails here.

How and where do I get it? I live close to Emirates mall - in which they don't have that service anymore and don't have any info either :(

Any idea?

P O Boxes are available at any Post Office, their is one on Al Wasl Road parallel to SZR in between Interchange 1 & 2. I believe you need to have a residence permit prior to being able to rent one.

Yes, I think that's correct although you could try even if you don't have residency (but I don't think it's likely you'll succeed). You don't need one to renew. Here's a list of UAE post offices
