Hi, I have been offered a job in Al Ain. I wanted to know what is the difference, interms of cost of living, between Dubai and Al Ain.

Accommodation noticeably cheaper in Al Ain, eating out cheaper although there are plenty of cheap places in Dubai, alcohol cheaper, most other things similar in price.

Thanks for the reply, actually i can't seem to find info. on rents in Al Ain. Can a Housing Allowance of 4000 AED/month get a one bed appartment.

Yes, should be enough in Al Ain. Probably not anything spectacular though, and don't forget most landlords want one, two, or three cheques for the whole year.
