Hey peeps, just asking 2 questions on behalf of a friend:

1- Working either in Jebel Ali or Internet City, where would be the best place to find accomodation (price is kinda important too). 2 bedrooms is what that person's looking for.

2- Which newspapers would be best to advertise in?

the friend is me, just didnt have time in the last few days, so i asked Nick to post the questions for me. very same reason why i dont just search for relevant info on the net. i know very well that there have been discussions about apartments and rents, still i kinda hope that those who live in those 2 areas will write a quick answer and save me the time. avarage 2 bedroom, furnished apartment that is not as far as possible from the center of dubai . would not wanna travel 3 hours just to get to work or go home after clubbing.

also would need some info about where is best to advertise and if i happen to have some time, what links should i visit to read about apartments to rent.

anyway, if smbody will bother to give me some info, id be very happy.

I believe the best prices you may be able to get, and also very close to where you are working would be Al Bashra around Mall of the Emirates. You may however find it better to furnish it yourself as the premium that goes on for Furnished is very high. the best property section that I have seen is in the Gulf News, at least for starters.
