I'm actually planning to gift my friend a Full day spa treatment in Dubai for her birthday. Any good recommendations?

check out Amara Spa in Park Hyatt.

The Ladies Club of Dubai has an absolutely beautiful spa.
The Monarch Hotel also has a wonder spa
Royal Mirage One and Only
The Atlantis as well. I believe they have set up enclosed tents by the pool where you can take a massage. But if you go to check it out be careful as there is a fee to parking. Before parking tell them you are going to make an inquiry at the spa and would they waive the fee.

I think that is a lovely gift to give someone.
