Babysitter for single parent? Apr 06, 2008
Do you know if it is allowed to have a babysitter cum maid (most probably female) living full time (separate room) with a single working parent (male with one child)?

I think you will find that this is "Officially" not allowed.

In that case, how about the babysitter's visa will be sponsored fully by him (possible?), she stays elsewhere nearby (bedspace/room share with others), every morning she comes to take care the house & child (after school), then leaves in the evening until he's back from office?

Of course you can do this along with the thousands of others that do it and it will probably be OK, however, legally speaking, I believe that you would have to hire from one of those companies.
Have a read of this;

I know thousands of Dubai expats do this (employing full/part time maids/babysitters) but the concern is about the legality & possibility of self-sponsoring a maid (female) by single parent (male). And I don't think that many in Dubai.

In this case I do not believe that you will be able to sponsor a Maid (Female) as a single (Male) Parent.
