Hi all,
There is a current regulation that in one of the documents that the immigration department requires in the process of sponsoring family or maid is the attested lease/rental contract. Has anyone gone through this process? I was informed that the Dubai lease/rental contract must be attested by Ejari.

That would be registering your lease wtih RERA, Ejari is the registration of leases. You will have to pay to register your lease. See below:

Lease contract form to be filled in. Sample form can be downloaded from http://www.ejari.ae. You must fill in your passport, ID & visa number. You must also have knowledge of your DEWA consumer number, plot and community address.Registration Fee Currently free

If you are the landlord you can register with Ejari online on www.ejari.ae official Ejari website , if you are the tenant you need to visit personally one of the rental authorities.
