As we all know, Martial Arts have recently become the most famous happening thing in the world we know today, from it being a form of self defence, a fitness work out, a combat art studied by the army, security guards, cops etc, and most importantly, its rapid rise to become the biggest most selling Entertainment Business in the whole world.
Martial Arts Heroes have become the ...idols of everyone, the faces of products and famous brands, the action figures that all people wish to meet. Martial Arts Heroes have become the number one inspiration to all our children and teenagers, considering the facts that there are no politics involved, no gambling and no inequality involved, on the contrary, these heroes are supreme athletes who are dedicated to the world of sport and are against drugs, alcohol etc, making them become the perfect examples to our new generation.
Professional Martial Arts events regularly take place in famous cities like Las Vegas, Tokyo, Moscow, recently and massively in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. The rapid growth of these events has now become extremely famous that in Dubai alone, there is almost an event or two every month, where famous brands sponsor fighters, they sponsor the event in full, or they even sponsor themselves by throwing their logo on the Ring or Cage. Tickets are sold, t-shirts are designed and sold, and much more.
The events always shine when there are local heroes taking part, where local talent showcase their skills, and supporters from the entire region show their support financially as well as spiritually.

After ADFC (Abu Dhabi Fighting Championship) and DFC (Dubai Fighting Championship), it's time for SFC (Sharjah Fighting Championship) to send ripples of excitement across the UAE sports arena with the Mixed Martial Arts.
Najmeddin Al Hadad, CEO and Founder of SFC, is a veteran MMA fighter and personal trainer in the UAE.
He joins hands with the Sharjah Government to showcase a global standard MMA championship by creating the first professional international martial arts event in the history of Sharjah.
SFC will be held in Sharjah in Al Majaz, a venue that has been recently designed to create events of all kinds, with the highest standards.
Shurooq Investment and Development Authority, a department in the Sharjah Government, is partnering up with SFC to creat a successful and memorable event that Sharjah will ever witness.
Date is set for the 28th of September. But the organizers said there might have some changes in the exact timing of the event.
SHarjah Fighting Championship will host some of the biggest names in the history of fighting. SFC is inspired by «Pride FC», «Dream FC», and super fights including K-1 rules and Boxing.
FIghters that have been invited from outside of the UAE are Yusup Sadolaev, who is currently one of the TOP 10 UFC prospects, who also won the dream FC this year in Tokyo, Japan.
One of the favorite fighters to battle it out in SFC ring is South African "Virgil Kalakoda", multiple time boxing World Champion, and the K-1 World Max Champion and Finalist.
"Considering that SFC is in its initial stage, contracts have not be signed yet, but we have sent out our offers to the fighters, and they have all accepted and keen to sign with us," said Najmeddin.
"Some of the fighters include local fighters like Ali Ahli, Malik Omarov and our youngest MMA local fighter with 3 amateur MMA fights and 3 wins, Sultan Al Owais. Sultan is a 16 years old who looks to be a very promising talent, everyday he trains 3 hours MMA in the morning. Kickboxing 2 hours in the evening, and karate 1 hour at night. A talent born to fight, and by age 18, we see him as the SFC Champion of the World."
"Sultan Al Owais, our 16 year old talent will fight MMA in SFC, and it will be MMA Special Rules, which means there is no striking at all when they take the fight to the ground."
There will be "SFC Elimination" amateur events taking place to discover local talent in the SFC Head Quarters in «Shotokan Japanese Sports Center» in Sharjah, which is the first MMA full equipment gym in Sharjah.
