Please note that topics posted in the Events section, should be relevant to events happening in the UAE. The topic should have a header giving brief information as to what the event is about. They should have date, location, time, cost and information about the event if possible. Web addresses may also be included.

The above excludes Dubai Forum Events, which are deemed as private events for members only. Therefore people interested in attending a DF event, should express their interest to the organiser or thread starter and the information will be PM'd to them.

Items posted just asking if there is something going on, or other items not deemed relevant will be moved to General or a more appropriate section.

No! You can discuss about a particular event in the thread for that event. But it'll only turn messy if people start posting up random stuff. 'General' questions, should be kept in the 'General' area, once an specific event comes up, then I think it should be moved/a new thread created in events.
