What would be your game plan for the next 5 years?

fight corruption in all forms. already we have seen something happen in the real estate but i think something should be doing in the major industries such as oil & gas, steel, cement and research & development.

this is my opinion and my opinion is based on my experience. it is not directed towards anyone and any hostile response will be dealth rudely

Hookers and blow

- Create Equal Opportunity Employers: Which means a brit, an indian, and a local can have the same pay if they have the same qualifications. (It's ok for gov to reward locals in another context)

- Create a postal code in Dubai, or make taxi drivers use it if there is one.

- Make the work permit independent from the Employer

- Encourage companies or NGOs to develop orientation programs of new comers

- Make pedestrian bridges on SZR

- Clean up the R/E circus. Remove the clowns and license the pros

All seems fair enough. You are right: Nepotism has got to be broken in this town and it is not exclusive to one particular ethnic group.

Salary should be based on value to the company....not on qualifications (we all know that at least 50% are fake anyway) or nationality.

Redefine my game plan.


Dubai needs to be a land of opportunity if it is to succeed. Not just for us white folks, for brown folks. If they opened the borders and made this a place where people could live the emarati dream they might actually have a chance at success in the long term. Cliche? yea, but America did it and we're actually going to survive this mess.


But thats never going to happen so I say let it burn and go with the five year Hookers and blow party.

If I were Ruler of Dubai I'd know there is no point in having a game plan because, due to my foul-ups, Abu Dhabi is now running the show.
