I agree with you Spanky - Go France!!

Henry deserves to get a World Cup winners medal. And would be good for Zidane to win it again and then to retire - he has been an amazing player - one of the best ever!!

Because they felt sorry for the rest of the teams .. come on we already had the cup 5 Times ok 5 Times so we need to give chances to other crappy teams u know cos its not fair :twisted: :twisted: and Zooter :argue: La France 8) 8) 8)

i was for Brazil, but they had a poor game...ronaldo barely moving with all the kilos on, and ronaldino doing nothing... :?

Both our teams went out at the same stage - so I guess neither of us "won"!!

That's the story of the game raidah... Ronaldinho could have done more sitting on the bench than being on the field. Everytime (very rare) Brazil attacked they had 2 or at best 3 players, France were having a player orgy in defence and attack.

I have to say that the only team I am now supporting is the Italians. They don't deserve to be here at this stage either, but they are.

yeah i remember i think after the 1st half, they said ronaldino had the ball only 10 times and only 6 of them were succesfull, while zidane with his 36 years had it around 3 times more and except a few of the passes, all the rest were actually played.

well, the final from how i see will be between france and germany and unless france pulls smthing similar like in the game with brazil, germany wins.

good excuse, you forgot to mention that they play like crap, most of their goals were offside and yeah they were so full of themselves, you gotta love zidane for what he did to Brazil.

Er...how about swimming?
Squash?
Badminton?
Netball?
Hockey?
Athletics?

Each of these sports are played by very many millions of people around the world, however they don't attract the investment or corporate sponsorship levels of football. As a result, the participants are far more competitive and play for the sport...as opposed to the financial reward.

I rest my case!

though they also tend to complain about the lack of funding they receive compared to the "professional" sports

There are only a couple of sports: Mountain Climbing and Bull Fighting. Everything else is a game.
