I parked my car along SZR by the Shangrila Hotel and when I came out my driver side mirror was busted.

If it was you who did it send money!

Likely it was taken off by a car... it happens when you force a hummer into a small lane.

If you want a replacement, go to First Industrial Street in Sharjah (also known as BMW road). Amazing place for discount parts - original, fake or used. I just picked up original Jeep parts there today for half the dealer price.

on a serious note, Druggies from Satwa.

Apparently a growing problem in that part of town. My car was broken into once, a friends twice. All were blamed, by the police, on youths on drugs in Satwa.

I just got a call from the rental company and they tell me it will cost me 3,780.00 dirhams to fix the mirror

I think I will call the police. Not to report the incident but to arrest these thieves.

Outrageous. Of course I ain't paying it. Specially when they are paying their mechanics 5 dhs/hr!

I am waiting for their "big boss" to call me...
