been pretty good .... after the whole dubai thing fell through I wasnt sure what I was gonna do next but some amazing opportunities have opened up for me here in NZ so I think Im staying put for now anyway! Will hopefully be in the US for some work later this year (when it gets a bit warmer) ... will be angling for NYC but not really my call

Dave and whatever other form of arsehole he wants to visit the forum in, is perhaps one (not all) of the reasons why a lot of "old timers" have left. Discussions are not discussions when you have mindless idiots like him who just attack forumers and give no meaningful input into any of the topics posted.

There are many other reasons, they have all been discussed in topics past.

I remember when I joined DF, there was a lot less of trolls in here. You got really sensible replies. After some time, there have been a vast of 'reincarnated trolls'. (they keep on coming back with different usernames!)

It is a real shame, as this forum was a great place to meet people and exchange thoughts and ideas.

But it is surprising that "trolls" would stop a forum in which many people have over 2000 posts.

Did any one event cause the exodus of these people Alien abduction or something one a couple on the list have posted and it seems they all posted within the month. Strange.

Actually I find it quite amusing that Dave (if thats who he is) has managed to inflame sentiment to such a degree that some of our old faithfulls have come back in to have a go at him
