This is true but sometimes a bit of arrogance goes a long way.

I must say that just with everything in life; there are always exceptions and some rude people do not make everyone rude (just like at DF).

I've either not been paying attention or am surrounded by gentlemen - and ladies. You guys might need new crowds...

Times have changed. It used to be normal that you get up for a (pregant) lady if all seats are occupied in train. Not anymore it seems, on the contrary. Recently had a drink with an aquintance. Beautifull, wonderfull lady. I helped her with her coat and bag. She said no man ever did this for her. Still have to have a good word with her bf.

OTOH I love to be pampered by a lady. That means, offer me a beer and switch on the sports channel while she makes some good food.

I once went out with a man and he came to pick me up to take me out for a drink. We went out to his car and he went round to the passenger side. I thought to myself, 'where's he going?' I thought for a minute I was going to have to drive.
I was taken aback when he was just opening the car door for me. I was well impressed. He left a very good impression and we are still friends years later.

I think men just don't like to see a woman driving a bigger or better car than they, themselves, are.
