I have to disagree with you on that one sage. Its just basically kebab with white rice and in all the different dishes only the placement of the kebab is changed. One dish the kebab is on top of the rice the other dish the kebab is inside the rice third dish the kebab is on the side of the rice and so on.

I remember a friend who went to work in an oil company to Iran for two years and on his return first thing he said if he never saw a kebab again it would be too soon :)

But I do like thin bread though 8)

this new forum is interesting, I found this thread in the "related posts" to Sage's Iran post. So many info about ur guy's feeling about Iran. Besides, it seems like there are some other Iranis here before!

And I still stand by what I said. Iranian food, cholo kabab and thats it. Just place the kebab on new location on the plate with the rice and viola new dish :D

Well thats I've seen, eaten and heard till now. And I even worked a Irani resturant for a very breif period in the 90's and thats all I saw and ate.

P.S : I love kebabs. Just find it funny a nations entire diet is made from just kebabs and rice :D

Oh ok I got it, u dont know wat is kabab! yeah all above u can call them kabab if it s difficult for you to differentiate them!

Sorry mel was getting a bit bored today and just had to set up "traps" for you. We all know to summon the big russian bear you all you need to do is type "Russia" and for you to appear we have to type "Iran" :mrgreen:
