Hello lovely people,

I am new here in Dubai, and I certainly drink a lot less here, yet hang overs are sooooo much worse. It feels like my brain is bruised and has swollen up inside my head!

What is the best cure for a hang over in this ridiculous heat?

Anyone got any good suggestions please??????

Thanks for the reply. Have not actually drunk any water today, just 6 cups of coffee and breathed in a little bit of this dusty polluted air!

I dont see why your hangovers are worse here except for the dehydration if you dont drink water.

But a good trick i use would be to take a multivitamin before you go out.

Dude, you've obviously killed off a few brain cells then, because to drink coffee instead of water is just plain daft! Coffee = diaretic, means makes you pee, therefore will only make you more dehydrated - DOH!

Drink a glass of milk before heading out, which will line the stomach and slow the ingestion of alcohol. Drink water inbetween drinks to keep hydrated. Drink a pint of water when you get home to once again, you guessed it, rehydtrate yourself.

Eating bananas also aids hangovers as they're loaded with vitamins and minerals which help restabilise the body.

Also don't forget if you're new to the heat you'll be sweating much more, so add extra salt to your food to compensate.

But most of all, water water water!

Water is the key, a pint then a glass and rotate and you'll be fine. but if that ain't your style, they sell this at clubs here....

lmao, well you know ever since she showed us her picture, Mission Impossible style i've been in :love4: ...... well lets just say i likes an acrobatic/flexible lady hehehehe.

hmmm,

A few tips

1. Dont drink outta limits so u dont get urself in a position to get a hangover.

2. Drink water ( atleast the same number of glasses as alcohol).

3. The reason why one get a headache is coz ur blood vessels get constricted , the best way to get rid of it is sleep over it rather than taking an analgesic.

4. Squeeze a lemon in a glass of water and drink it the next morning.

5. Make sure you eat after you drink.

6. dont mix drinks.

Hmm i guess its enuff now i dont wanna sound like a doc. lol

Dear fellow forum goers,

I would like to sincerely thank you all for the advise. However, I have learned nothing different from England, but am very greatful for all your time, efforts and constructive comments.

If I wasn't such a booze hounding, party loving, beverage mixing dude, then I would probably listen and follow all advise.

However, I must stress;

(1) I am London's finest Ninja
(2) I enjoy alcohol a close 2nd to sex (both together, magic ;x)
Ummmmm Sex and champagne in a jacuzzi!!!
(3) I am a strong believer in drinking to excess, its enjoyable regardless
what the doctors tell me!
(4) Mixing your drinks is great fun and tastes lovely
(5) Who said you can't drink scotch, red wine, champagne, brandy, rum
and whatever else all in the same session?
(6) I have extensive experience in the day after, either;
(a) Commence drinking at somewhere like waxies at 12pm
(b) Have some great food to sort you out, either sushi or F.E.B

Any one fancy a night out? ......... ;x)
